Torment tiers
Torment is Ragol's Wrath's hard mode: five tiers of tougher enemies and far better loot, on Ultimate only.
Starting a Torment game
- In the lobby, type
/torment 1to/torment 5, then create an Ultimate game./torment offgoes back to normal. - Or start the game's name with
T1toT5. - Every player needs the tier's minimum level, checked when the game is made.
What each tier does
| Tier | Min level | Enemy HP | Enemy attack | Rares | EXP | Meseta | Attributes at least | Weapons with Hit | Extra grind |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| T1 Torment 1 | 100 | ×1.25 | ×1.1 | ×1.25 | ×1.4 | ×3 | 15% | 10% | +0 |
| T2 Torment 2 | 130 | ×1.5 | ×1.2 | ×1.5 | ×2 | ×5 | 25% | 20% | +1 |
| T3 Torment 3 | 160 | ×2 | ×1.3 | ×2 | ×2.6 | ×8 | 35% | 35% | +2 |
| T4 Torment 4 | 180 | ×2.5 | ×1.45 | ×2.5 | ×3.2 | ×12 | 45% | 50% | +3 |
| T5 Torment 5 | 195 | ×3 | ×1.6 | ×3 | ×4 | ×20 | 50% | 70% | +4 |
- Rares multiplies every rare drop chance. The boost is capped: an item is never pushed past 1/8 per kill, and an item that is already more common than that keeps its own rate.
- EXP multiplies the server's 5x EXP rate again.
- Attributes, Hit and grind make the weapons and armour that drop better, not just more frequent.
Torment-only drops
Some items only drop inside a Torment game: Torment Coins, Dark Photon Drops, Torment Shards, the Torment Sigils and the Torment Virus dyes among them. They have their own roll, which ignores the enemy's normal drop rate and the tier's rare boost, so the chance shown in the Codex is exactly what you get.
TORMENTED gear
Hundreds of top-tier items (10 stars and up) have a TORMENTED version with its own pulsing crimson name. You make one by using a Torment Shard while the item is equipped; the item's Codex page lists it under "Recipes".
